Meet Pastor Juan

Rev. Juan Mendez, MA, BCPC

Executive Director

I know firsthand how devastating addiction can be. I walked through the doors of a faith-based rehab at a time in his life when he felt he was finally at the end of himself and in need of a life change. I found that change and more in his relationship with Christ, and has been clean and sober for over 17 years. Now, I desire to help other men and their families rebuild after the devastation of addiction and experience the freedom that only Christ offers

Once a 9th grade dropout, Juan returned for his high school diploma in 2010. In 2020, he graduated Liberty University with a Master’s degree in human sercives counseling. He is a certified Exchanged Life Counselor and Recovery Coach with Grace Fellowship International.

In 2018, despite his legal history, Juan was granted permission to hold a bible study and mentoring group at the Salem County Correctional Facility and was the guest speaker at its annual volunteer dinner.

Juan currently serves on the pastoral staff of Hope Cathedral, Jackson, NJ. And is the former program director for the Colony of Mercy at America’s Keswick.

God has moved in many miraculous ways for Juan. But if you ask him his greatest miracles are his salvation, his wife, Diera, and four beautiful children.
